Performance analysis of adsorption refrigeration system using silicagel/methanol pair: experimental & analytical approaches

چکیده

An adsorption refrigeration system (ARS) working on silica-gel/methanol pair has been investigated analytically and experimentally. By applying the mass balance in adsorber bed mechanism of thermal compressor with respect to time length was determined. experimental analysis performed using a gravimetric analyzer (TGA) evaluate transfer coefficient optimum cycle for silica-gel/ methanol at different temperatures. The Diffusion Ds Activation energy Ea were found 2.55 × 10–4 m2/s 83.08 KJ/mol. Further,
 results variation regeneration temperature performance terms COP (Coefficient Performance) SCP (Specific Cooling Power) evaluated; maximum average theoretical achieved by 0.5 102 W/kg near about 127°C temperature.
